Grades Competitions
The Grades competition is an annual event which requires gymnasts to compete to a programme of set skills and moves. Gymnasts who pass at a grade cannot resit this grade at a future time.
Voluntary Levels Competition
The classic challenge is a levels competition offered to those who are going down the compulsory pathway.
Classic Challenge
The Classic Challenge consists of various levels including Zinc, Copper, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
The first gymnasts in Bronze, Silver & Gold levels, will represent the region in the
National Finals.
In-house Competitions
All gymnasts from our competitive squads are eligible to compete in our annual Club Championships. We also hold Floor and Vault Competitions which all recreational and floor and vault gymnasts are eligible to compete in.
External competitions
Gymnastics Clubs across Scotland regularly hold their own competitions to which Clubs are invited. Examples of these are competitions held by Hamilton GC and Dundonald GC.
Coaches, judges and gymnasts should carry current membership cards to all competitions and be prepared for these to be checked by the organiser or their appointed officials.
